Screenshot of new Ponderosa Pediatrics websiteBased on parent feedback in a recent survey, the new Ponderosa Pediatrics website is now live. It is designed for easy access to the information parents of patients and prospective patients are looking for. All information is accessible in two clicks or less. Here are a few features:

  1. Announcement board: At the top right of the page, important announcements will rotate allowing us to post new information for easy access.
  2. Family nights: Once Tuesday evening each month, expectant moms, families new to the area or any family looking for healthcare for their children can come in, meet providers and learn about Ponderosa Pediatrics in their evaluation of pediatricians. You must submit a reservation form online or call to reserve a spot.
  3. Blog: Our new blog will routinely have articles pertaining to children’s health, disease prevention, new services, announcements and activities, and more. You can subscribe to our blog easily, and all posts will also appear on our Facebook page.
  4. Directions and map: Turn by turn directions and a more detailed map are available for patients coming from Prescott, Prescott Valley, Dewey-Humboldt/Mayer and Chino Valley/Paulden.
  5. Provider profiles: Photos and bio’s of each provider are included to put names and faces to your child’s doctors and pediatric nurse practitioners.
  6. Services, insurance, and other useful information: Browse through these tabs to learn how to make appointments, insurances accepted, medical emergency information and more.
  7. Forms, forms and forms: Our patient forms are organized by New Patient, Well Child and other forms. A parent preparing for a two year well child check can download most forms needed (we are working on the copyrighted forms as well), complete them on the computer (fillable PDF files), print them and bring them to the appointment. Legal forms, medical record releases and others are available in English and Spanish.
  8. Educational and information links: Under the ”Resources” tab, links that go to reliable sources on health information for children, state and national sites for health organizations and government entities, local sites of interest for children, and immunizations help parents with research on various child related topics. Please keep in mind that these links cannot replace a doctor’s visit and are provided for informational purposes only.
  9. Spanish translations: Thanks to Google, every page has a small link at the top that translates the content of any page to Spanish. This is a translation service and translations are literal, but the translations are accurate enough for native speakers to understand the information presented.
